The Jordan's Way Foundation was established to honor the life of Jordan Austin Ferrante Gennaro, who died at 17 years old as a result of a tragic ATV accident. Jordan had a unique gift for making things that were important to others, important to himself. He once said his purpose in life was "to help others feel good about themselves." From the pain of losing Jordan came a vision to help other teens develop the kind of purpose-focused mindset that he had, early on in their lives when many teens are struggling the most. Carl Ferrante Gennaro, Jordan's Dad, has turned that into his personal mission, and created the foundation to further and support that goal.

Carl's vision is that the Foundation will provide and support the Jordan's Way Academy; creating a unique learning experience for teens and young adults, with a central idea of "turning pain into purpose" acknowledging the fact that everyone experiences pain. However, instead of that pain being a weight, it can be a tool to help us develop into who we were always meant to be. We want to help teens build purpose-filled life by discovering who they truly are. By learning that their life experiences, their greatest pains, and biggest weaknesses can be their greatest strengths.
No one should have to walk through their pain alone. We want every teenager to know that they are not alone, no matter how isolated or insecure they may feel. That's why Jordan's Way Foundation connects young people with "Purpose Partners"- others who have walked through similar situations . As our namesake did, we build relationships based on appreciating and caring for each other, encouraging others towards positive change. |
Through the Jordan's Way Academy 4-Core program, teens will discover the amazing potential that is within each of them. We all have our own unique strengths that were created in us for a purpose. We want to give each person the tools to work through their pain and discover their greatest strengths. It is only when we embrace vulnerability and face our pain, that we discover who we're truly meant to be and how to use the unique gifts each of us brings to the world.
Our goal through Jordan's Way Academy is to inspire: schools, communities, and churches to come together in support of today's youth. Together, we will teach teens to understand and grow through their pains and life experiences. Using these experiences as strengths to help others, and themselves, will help them reach their full potential. |
